Nelson Makamo, also a graduate of Artist Proof Studio, is one of the country's fastest rising young artists.

Makamo was responsible for running the Artist Proof Studio gallery for several years since graduating, and

during this time has particpated in a number of local and international exhibitions and has sold art to significant investors.

Created by a famously hard worker, Makamo's art is charecteristed for the powerful way in which it addresses the clash of urban and rural lives and lifestyles in South Africa, amongst other themes.
